The peoples from the cold do not understand the warmth
Of hospitality, that intelligence.
I know because I have lived among them, learning
from their worth, say
individual freedom, crucial,
me grateful, blooming,
more alive and complex, wiser,
invisible to them because
the peoples from the north are absolutely certain
about not having a thing to learn
